Natural sights

The nature in the region is very varied - with the coastal area and the Ängelholm plain framed by the Bjäre peninsula, the Kullaberg peninsula and the majestic Hallandsåsen ridge.Examples of natural sights really worth your visit:

Hallandsås is a horst, a fault in the Archaean rocks, with lush beech forests and deep pine forests. The beech bursts into leaf at the beginning of May. The sight of wood anemones and the light, shimmering green in a beech forest that has just come into leaf is really breathtaking. www.hallandsasen.se
